Excellent tent . Used this tent for a weekend in northern nevada. Set up was pretty easy. Really like the quality of materials, fabric, zippers etc.
A small stove and you're all set for those colder nights.

Survived wind and rain in the Black Rock Desert for a week

Exceeded my expectations. I spent a week camping in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada during a week that included a wind storm with nearly two hours of 40-50 mph winds and three daily rain storms. They tent held up with only minor guy line tightening needed after the storms, was totally dry and protected inside throughout. Great product.

Rain caps leak

Overall the tent seems well made. Prior to use I waterproofed the tent with a silicone spray. My only complaint are the rain caps on the end of the poles. They do not fit tight enough to keep water out so the interior floor will hold water if it rains. I purchased a couple rubber grommets from my local auto parts store and installed them over the caps. This keeps the water out during a light rain storm, but still leak during a downpour. I hope these cheap plastic caps will be redesigned in the future especially considering the price of the tent.
