This tent is frickin amazing! The quality is outstanding. it took me a bit to figure out how to work the tension lines, other than that, setup was super simple. My first time took me roughly 30 minutes. I've cut that time in half at this point. It is so spacious and it's more a personal/portable mini cabin you can take anywhere than a tent! It warms up so quickly and holds heat for some time too. I could not be more satisfied.

Very happy with the DOS Cabin Tent. I looked at other canvas tents but decided on this one due to the smaller profile. Material is high quality and the tent goes up easily. The interior space is roomy and tall enough to stand in. It comfortably fits two cots and gear. Plus, the stove-jack is an added bonus. I plan to use it for weekend trips in the Uintas with the girlfriend/dogs, and for late fall hunting trips.

Used this for a multi-day camp in the Ouachita Mountains recently--with a wood stove, as the nights got down to 20. Everything about the tent worked well. It's a reasonable weight, sets up quickly for a canvas tent, and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in the forest. There's plenty of room for a cot, stove and equipment, and the double door feature is great as the stove can be set up and supplied at the back. For rainy trips I plan to throw a tarp (with its own stove jack) over it. Well done, DOS!

I went ahead and purchased this tent as I wanted to downsize from a Kodiak canvas 10x10 tent. I have not had the opportunity to use this tent yet. However, upon further review the tent appears to be something I can handle by myself, as the footprint is smaller, more manageable and provides more protection from the elements. I plan on using this November for my Mule deer hunt. DES is a great company to work with, and has answered my questions. They ship the items purchased quickly. I have purchased other products DES offers and likewise will use this upcoming trip. I will update my review later this year.

I picked this tent up as part of the presale back in July and have been using it for the last couple months. This thing is awesome! It's very spacious and easy to walk around in. There was a discount for the presale, but even at the current price, it's an incredible value for what you get. Excited for some colder weather trips soon for hunting season!
