Very high quality! I love this tent. As someone who has had many tents in the past this tent takes the cake! This is my first canvas tent and so far I am very impressed with the build quality! The fabric is tough yet light weight. It is very breathable with the doors and windows open. On a day in the 90s with a slight breeze, inside of the tent was quite comfortable. I would highly recommend this tent to anyone in the market for a new tent! This is well worth the price!

haven't used it yet. seems easy to set up and durable. wish I didn't have to google the set up instructions. not able to waterproof it with silicone and let it dry flat for a day or whatever. i share a tiny apt with 2 roommates. guess we'll see!

Overall I found this tent to have extraordinary value. It looks really cool with our gear - many people walking by our campsite were taking photos or making comments. Functionally it is well-designed with reinforced corners, seams, and feels very sturdy. This was my first time setting up a tent like this and it wasn’t too bad. Just look up how to tie a bowline knot and how to stake out + tighten the guy lines. We recently took out our tent for the first time to hopefully season it with a little hose water, but it ended up raining on us quite a bit through the night. Even though it wasn’t fully seasoned yet, we still stayed dry in the tent with no leaks coming in from the seams. The waterproofing that was applied during manufacturing was evident as the water beads trickled down the sides and the tent dried pretty quickly afterwards. Next time I will set up our ground tarp a little better to prevent water pooling underneath and we should stay 100% dry in case it rains again. I am over 6’ tall so I love how spacious the interior is. We can comfortably fit two people and a dog with our stuff. It just feels like a well-designed tent and one that will last a long time. I can't wait to get a stove and try it out during the cooler months.

This review is an update. During my Mule Deer hunt this past Novemeber, the tent held up to the elements that mother nature threw at us. The tent kept us dry and with the tent stove, kept us warm as well. This is my go to tent for future hunts. The tent is easy to construct with one person; I am 73 yrs old, no problem! I did use the Butterbredt Canvas Canopy over the tent structure for added protection.

This tent is frickin amazing! The quality is outstanding. it took me a bit to figure out how to work the tension lines, other than that, setup was super simple. My first time took me roughly 30 minutes. I've cut that time in half at this point. It is so spacious and it's more a personal/portable mini cabin you can take anywhere than a tent! It warms up so quickly and holds heat for some time too. I could not be more satisfied.

Very happy with the DOS Cabin Tent. I looked at other canvas tents but decided on this one due to the smaller profile. Material is high quality and the tent goes up easily. The interior space is roomy and tall enough to stand in. It comfortably fits two cots and gear. Plus, the stove-jack is an added bonus. I plan to use it for weekend trips in the Uintas with the girlfriend/dogs, and for late fall hunting trips.

Used this for a multi-day camp in the Ouachita Mountains recently--with a wood stove, as the nights got down to 20. Everything about the tent worked well. It's a reasonable weight, sets up quickly for a canvas tent, and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in the forest. There's plenty of room for a cot, stove and equipment, and the double door feature is great as the stove can be set up and supplied at the back. For rainy trips I plan to throw a tarp (with its own stove jack) over it. Well done, DOS!

I went ahead and purchased this tent as I wanted to downsize from a Kodiak canvas 10x10 tent. I have not had the opportunity to use this tent yet. However, upon further review the tent appears to be something I can handle by myself, as the footprint is smaller, more manageable and provides more protection from the elements. I plan on using this November for my Mule deer hunt. DES is a great company to work with, and has answered my questions. They ship the items purchased quickly. I have purchased other products DES offers and likewise will use this upcoming trip. I will update my review later this year.

I picked this tent up as part of the presale back in July and have been using it for the last couple months. This thing is awesome! It's very spacious and easy to walk around in. There was a discount for the presale, but even at the current price, it's an incredible value for what you get. Excited for some colder weather trips soon for hunting season!
