This was honestly one of the best purchases for our camping group. It's way smaller and lighter than a pop-up canopy, and provides a ton of shade. Our regular group of about 8 people share one. It feels much larger in person than it is in the pictures. I will say the first time setting up took us a bit longer, but after you do it once, it's really quite easy. We usually set up a propane fire pit in the center. Now we're eagerly awaiting for the other furniture featured in the pics haha

Picked this up for backyard gatherings recently. We pitch it right on the rear lawn with some battery powered fairy lights and lanterns. Our friends and their kids love it! Our house is small and tight on storage, so it's very nice how small this packs down.

I built a summer glampsite for my beach lot and bought this shelter to go in front of my canvas bell tent. I just love it! It was easy to set up, and I had to move it a few times to get it right and it was easy to move and adjust by myself. The poles are nice looking, and VERY strong. It has been up for 10+ days and even in 20+ mph winds and summer rains it did great. I seasoned the canvas and it repels water better than my bell tent does! I did have the stakes pull out of our soft ground once or twice, but I replaced the stakes with some heavy duty stakes and that did the trick. Wish I could buy a few of the poles on their own to use for other purposes- they are so strong, stable, and good looking! I bought some other tarp tent poles online and they bent in a day under the same stress the DOS poles have been enduring with no problem. This is an EXCELLENT product, and if you camp a lot you will find dozens of uses for this shelter. I am getting rid of my ez up and using this from now on!

We picked this up early February and have taken it out on 10+ trips now. We were initially debating between a tarp canopy versus a roof rack awning, but since our regular crew is about 8+ people, decided to go for this tarp canopy instead. 100% worth every penny. The quality is amazing, and it's awesome to have everyone together under one structure. The packed size is really quite amazing for how large the tarp is. Versus roof rack awnings, it really depends on your use case. If you're traveling solo and spending a night at each location, then a roof rack awning would be more practical. If you're base camping with a group, this tarp canopy is absolutely the way to go.
